Darcy Troy Pollack
A 30-year veteran of Location-Based Entertainment (LBE), Darcy Troy Pollack is currently a senior advisor in the Immersive Experiences space. She has held roles at MGM Resorts where she launched and led MGM’s Immersive group; Walt Disney Imagineering, where she helped launch and lead a New Experiences group focused on projects outside the Parks; and Sony Retail Entertainment where she was a key player in developing one of the first themed “urban entertainment centers” - Metreon San Francisco. Darcy’s journey also comprised a decade in startups, including co-founding two retail entertainment concepts (including a “construct-a-car” concept called Ridemakerz), as well as early years in investment banking and entertainment at companies such as Goldman Sachs, Warner Brothers, and United Talent Agency. Darcy has one of the most comprehensive networks in the Immersive space and has been fortunate to work with creative greats like Maurice Sendak, as well as exceptional designers like Bob Weis, former President of Imagineering. Darcy was named one of Blooloop’s Top 50 Influencers in Immersive in 2023 and was asked to judge the awards for 2024. She is a graduate of both Yale University and Harvard Business School. Darcy lives in Los Angeles, but makes sure to get to her familial Switzerland for hiking once a year.
